Ever heard of Hobo: Tough Life before? Well it might be worth your time to think about changing that as it has got an 82% review score on Steam and 4,553 reviews so I guess the game lives up to its title of being able to hide in plain sight, eh? Just like the next-generation title that they’re developing, which we don’t have much info on right now. Essentially Perun Creative has announced that they’ve hired more talent, added more office space, and improved their internal infrastructure. This was for two things: to help with their console port and for a next-gen project that will be a cross-platform hybrid.
Anyways, Hobo: Tough Life has been doing pretty well for itself, to the extent that we even made a storage guide for the game. In case you didn’t know, that’s when you know for sure when you’ve hit the big leagues. If you don’t have a guide from us, you’re worth squat. If you do, then doors will open for you.
Hubris aside, Hobo: Tough Life will have a new update coming to its experimental branch “relatively soon”, but an exact date hasn’t been set yet. Players can expect to see behind the scenes changes in networking, save game stability, optimizations, and other goodies that should make for a better overall experience. Basically, with a console release of the title inbound for April 2022, players can also expect to see the full update as well.
There are also new translations coming with the console release. At the moment only a Japanese translation can be guaranteed, but more languages are currently “in the talks”, which is incredible. I don’t think anyone has ever managed to talk to a language before, and these guys are talking to multiple languages at once!
Terrible jokes aside, if you want to know more about Hobo: Tough Life and anything else coming out of Perun Creative, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
