November Core Keeper Update Takes You To The Desert

If you’re looking for something new to play through in Core Keeper, the upcoming November Core Keeper update should fit the bill. The Desert of Beginnings represents a major update and biome that players will be able to play through, and it also includes a sub-biome, new enemies, materials, and more. There’s also an updated roadmap to peruse, which details a lot more than the first incarnation of its roadmap.

As for the game leading up to this point, we’ve had the Early Access release back in March, which immediately went on to sell 500k copies in under two weeks. There was also the Easter Event, the introduction of dedicated servers, and Sunken Sea, a major update that released back in June. On September 14th, we have a small update coming in Cozy Caverns, which are described as “small, functional, and decorative”. There’s also a spooky seasonal event coming in October. As for the November Core Keeper update, it should shake things up quite a bit. Let’s take a look at it, shall we?

Core Keeper Roadmap showing off what players can expect in the November Core Keeper update and beyond.

What’s included in the November Core Keeper update?

The November Core Keeper update includes a new biome called the Desert of Beginnings, which sounds a little imposing. Is there a ‘Forest of Endings’ update coming eventually as well? There’s also a sub-biome called Molten Quarry, which sounds pretty self-explanatory. You’ll also find new beings that players will interact with, like Ra-Akar the Sand Titan (presumably coming for the Desert biome) and Igneous the Molten Mass, which is presumably for the Molten Quarry.

New enemies coming with the November Core Keeper update include the Caveling Assassin, the Bomb Scarab, the Lava Butterfly, and more. A new material called Galaxite will be made available, along with a new vehicle, Steam Achievements, support for players to add custom Latin languages, and more. All of these additions sound like notable improvements, so if you’re a Core Keeper fan, you should have November circled on your calendar.

There are two more things in the roadmap as well, with a Christmas update coming in December and a Crystal Biome coming sometime in the future, probably early next year. The updates won’t be stopping after this second major update, that’s for sure.

If you’re interested in Core Keeper, it can be a pretty imposing game, so be sure to check out our many guides we’ve created to help you get the most out of your experience!
