The award-winning demented and pixelated point-and-click adventure Norco PlayStation release announced, where players will have a chance to take on the life of Kay as she traverses the unforgiving swamps and Bayou’s in Louisiana to find her missing brother.
The southern-styled and gothic aesthetic-filled game is known by anyone who has played it for its deep and twisted storytelling and incredibly immersive pixelated graphics. Yes, somehow the game takes your mind deep within the story even with the pixelation. This is due to the soundscape that completely surrounds you, and provides that much-needed ambiance as you traverse the swamps and long winding roads.
Players begin their adventure in a distorted take on southern Louisiana, where Kay, the main character, has headed back to her hometown to figure out what exactly happened to her missing brother. What’s more intriguing is that his disappearance seems to have occurred at a very odd time, as their mother had just recently passed away. The aim of the game is to click your way through the story and solve your brother’s mystery.
As you progress, the story will become seemingly darker, as you are searching for a squatting influencer cult that lives within the depths of an abandoned strip mall. Kay, her stuffed childhood monkey, a bayou pirate, and an escaped security android will need to band together to uncover the secrets that lie in Norco and get down to business in order to find Kay’s brother.
