The Pokemon Go Season of Light update is headed to the masses this November, where we will see a new Ultra Beast, updated raids, and a live event they call Safari Zone.
In a recent Tweet from @PokemonGoApp, we are shown a roadmap of sorts for the Pokemon Go mobile game. Though the Season of Light update began on September 1, 2022, it isn’t set to end until November 23, 2022, leaving plenty of time for these new additions. On November 8, 2022, the game will see the Ultra Beast, Guzzlord, added to the Pokedex. Guzzlord is a Dark Dragon-type known by the code name UB-05 Glutton, and sports some powerful abilities for battle.
On top of the new Pokemon being added, there will be new raids, events and of course, November’s community day. Some of the new featured 5-star raids will include Giratina (Origin Form), Guzzlord, and Nihilego, while the Mega raids will feature Mega Houndoom, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Bannette. As for the live event, the Safari Zone: Singapore event will go live on November 18, 2022, and end on November 20, 2022. Players will encounter Pokemon-themed around the Pokemon Air Adventures, which would include Flying Pikachu, Lapras, and even Maractus. Tickets for the event are on sale as we speak, and can be found on the Nianticlabs website.
While all of these updates are exciting, there have been a few issues with Pokemon Go that may prevent some users from being able to enjoy the new content. As we learned this morning, Pokemon Go Plus and Poke Ball Plus users are having issues using their auto-catcher devices. Since the Zorua seems to have been the cause of a few other bugs, some suspect this might be the case for the disabling of the accessories as well. There is still no ETA or update for those experiencing auto-catcher connectivity issues, but we will be sure to update those affected as we learn more.
