After over a month of waiting, we now finally have more information about Final Fantasy XIV‘s upcoming Gods Revel, Lands Tremble 6.3 update. Most importantly, we now know its release date, which is January 10th and just over two weeks from now. We had an inkling of this before, but now we know for sure, which must come as a relief to Final Fantasy XIV fans wanting to see where the game goes next.
We also have more news about the Paladin rework, which should come as a happy development (heh) for all of you holy tanks out there. At its core, the Paladin’s rotation is being heavily revised. This means that the sequence of spells and abilities that must be properly used on time if you want to do well is being changed. So, expect the Paladin to potentially play noticeably differently come January 10th.
As for the rest of the upcoming update, players can expect to see new main scenario quests, which will show the next chapter in the story of the Warrior of Light. The Warrior of Light finds an unexpected ally in a half-voidsent woman named Zero as they continue searching for Azdaja.
There’s also side story quests, an 8-player and a Unreal Trial. For players who want to push themselves to the next level, there’s a new 24-player Alliance Raid and a New Ultimate Raid, which will stand out as the biggest challenge that players will encounter in the patch. You can also expect to see automatic housing demolition to resume, which sounds like fantastic news for would-be homeowners.
