We also see how the season won’t introduce a new legend, but it will bring a rework of the class system with the Legends Classes Remaster. The trailer shows how the existing Legends are grouped into the five available classes: Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support. Each class promises meaningful perks of its own.

We also get to see the new weapon called the Nemesis will be added. It’s an energy weapon aiming to “unseat the old standbys.

Of course, the upcoming battle pass rewards also get plenty of time under the spotlight, which isn’t surprising for a free-to-play game like Apex Legends.

Apex Legends is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam. It’s free-to-play, so you can jump in without paying an entrance fee, but of course, it features the inevitable optional microtransactions.

It’s also one of the most-played games in the world, having passed 100 million players in early 2022. On the other hand, EA recently announced the upcoming shutdown of Apex Legends Mobile while pledging that a different mobile experience actually connected with the main game is planned
