Third-party developers had news to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, while Microsoft itself released a beta update.
The new beta build of the Sim Update 12, numbered 1.31.19.0 includes the usual round of bug fixes and improvements to weather simulation, the Cessna Citation CJ4, and more.
The full patch notes can be found here and you should keep in mind that this is a beta, so it can negatively affect your experience with bugs and issues. The full release is expected for March 21.
Incidentally, earlier today Microsoft also released the majestic Antonov An-225, the heaviest aircraft in the world, tragically destroyed during the war in Ukraine.
Next, we got a release date for the Tecnam P2006T MKII coming from Aerosoft and FlightSim Studio. As shared on the developer’s discord server, it’ll launch tomorrow, February 29, between 13:00 and 15:00 UTC. No new assets were released, but Aerosoft still delivered a new image of the Airbus A330 in its own livery, which you can see above.
Aeroplane Heaven announced that its Avro Lancaster will be released in the second half of 2023. The developer has four projects in the works for this year, albeit the rest has not been revealed.
Next, Pilot Experience Sim revealed new screenshots of its Maule M7-235. We get to see the Tundra version with bush wheels, the clipboard with the options like chocks and loadouts, the three included liveries, and the black variant of the cockpit.
On top of that, alpha testing has concluded and beta testing has begun.
Last, but not least, Fly2High announced that it’s working on Daegu International Airport (RKTN) in South Korea. It’s the 5th busiest airport in the country with plenty of airline traffic and it also hosts the F-15K of the local air force’s 11th Fighter Wing. According to the developer, the airport is 85% complete and will be released in March.
