Capcom Spotlight – All The News & Trailers: Resident Evil 4 Demo, Releases Dates, & More

Today Capcom hosted its Capcom Spotlight livestream with plenty of news about Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Street Fighter 6, and more.

We start with Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, which releases on April 14, 2023, for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. 

We get a new trailer showcasing the Patch Cards that will be included in the games from 4 onward. Originally, they were available only in Japan. We also take a look at Booster Max Mode that will make the games easier and faster for those who simply want to enjoy the story.

A new trailer of Street Fighter 6 provided news on the final commentator who will be included in the game, and it’s Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi. The game launches on June 2, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

We then move on to Exoprimal, which finally get a full release date, It’s coming on July 14, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will also come to Game Pass. 

An open beta test will be hosted between March 17, and March 19. 

You can watch the new trailer on YouTube (it can’t be embedded due to adult content), also revealing two new suits (playable in the beta test) the special editions, the bonuses, and the Survival Pass reward system, which is basically the game’s Battle Pass which comes with a free tier and a paid Premium Tier. Why would they miss a chance to nickel and dime us a little more?

The next game showcased is Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. The release date has been announced and it’s on June 13, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.  We also get to see a trailer providing an in-depth look at the game and the improvements compared to the original release. 

Monster Hunter Rise‘s expansion Sunbreak got a release date for its Xbox Series X|S, Xbox one, PS5, PS4, and Windows PC versions. It’s coming on April 20, 2023.

You can watch the trailer below. The release will include all the content up to Free Title Update 3. A digital event about Free Title Update 5 will be broadcasted by Capcom in April. 

Speaking of Resident Evil 4, which is coming on March 24, 2023, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, it’s getting a demo, and it’s releasing… today. Titled “Chainsaw Demo,” you can go grab it on all platforms and it doesn’t have any time limit, so you can play it as long as you want while you wait for the release of the game.
