Today Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse released a brand new trailer of an upcoming character who will soon debut in the game’s gacha.
This time around, we get to take a look at Mika, a 4-star character who will debut in two banners on March 21. The first is The Transcendent One Returns with Shenhe, while the second is The Heron’s Court with Kamisato Ayaka. The remaining two slots in both banners are Diona and Sucrose.
Mika is voiced by Robb Moreira in English and Yuuko Sanpei in Japanese. She voiced Tsubasa Ozora in Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions and she’s the voice of Boruto in the Naruto franchise.
You can watch the trailer below and the version in Japanese if you prefer hearing Sanpei-san.
While the 3.5 is the current build of the game, we already know the characters that will come with 3.6, Baizhu and Kaveh.
Being a Front-Line Surveyor sounds simple, but the role entails far more than just cartography and taking point. Reconnaissance, healing, combat, and survival… All kinds of unexpected situations are the challenges a Front-Line Surveyor will face in reality. Fortunately, Mika is a modest and prudent young man. Without anyone realizing it, he has already grown into an excellent member that everyone can rely on.
If you’re unfamiliar with Genshin Impact, it’s currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. A Nintendo Switch version has been announced a long time ago, but HoYoverse has gone under the radar with it and has not said anything since despite confirming multiple times that it hasn’t been canceled. We’ll have to wait and see if 2023 will finally be the year of Genshin on Nintendo’s console.
