The latest project to come from Fast Travel Games has been announced. Titled Ghost Signal: A Stellaris Game, it’s set to release on Meta Quest 2 on March 23, 2023.
The game was co-developed with Windswept interactive and is said to be an action roguelike set in the iconic Stellaris universe. The game will work with the latest Hand-Tracking 2.0 software that was recently released by Meta. There will be daily challenges for players to complete as well as leaderboards for players to be able to track their progress.
You will take on the role of the Captain of a large spacecraft that is in search of a mysterious signal called the Titular Signal. When you embark on this journey, you will come across friends and foes that can make or break your search for this signal. Interstellar battles are a key component of the game where players must use wit and brute force to overtake those who try to stand in their way. There are also several planets to explore, aliens and other creatures to encounter, and a randomized map that keeps things fresh and exciting. Several upgrades are available in order to modify your ship to your liking. There are also valuable items to scavage for on other players’ ships in order to rise to the top of the interstellar food chain.

When asked about the upcoming title, lead game designer Christopher Smith said,
“As players take command of the starship Aurora for a journey into the unknown, I truly hope they get an action-filled roguelite VR experience like never before. With randomized maps, every playthrough of Ghost Signal: A Stellaris Game is different. Your survival skills will be tested, and we look forward to seeing what you find and overcome in search of the Ghost Signal.”
Ghost Signal: A Stellaris Game will launch on Meta Quest 2 on March 23, 2023.
