Today Blizzard Entertainment aired a new video of its upcoming RPPG Diablo IV, during which the developers discussed character customization.
The video explores the theme of customization in several ways, starting with visual customization, including both your character’s basic look and transmog that lets you establish the looks of your gear.
More customization comes on the functional side, starting with the skill tree and then moving on to the super-complex Paragon boards.
Then there’s crafting, which lets you customize your items in what appears to be a rather freeform way.

Diablo 4 will release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 6, 2023. That’s almost two months away, the game has already gone gold. You can also check out a recent video about the game, a live-action trailer for the recent beta, set in a deconsecrated church in France.
If you’re too eager to play and can’t wait, luckily a “Server Slam” beta is coming next month.
