Today Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios announced that the action-adventure third-person shooter Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed just again.
The game will now launch on February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It’s not the first time it has been delayed. It was originally supposed to launch in 2022, then delayed to 2023. Just a few months ago a May 26, 2022 release date was announced, followed by a gameplay reveal that received less-than-enthused feedback from many, especially due to the game-as-a-service elements.
The announcement made on Twitter, that you can read below, explains that the developers have decided to take more time to create the best experience they can. They also promised to share “much more” in the months agead.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will now launch on 02-02-24. We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players. Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted as more reveals are made about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but one thing is for sure, we’re not going to Metropolis in May.
