Today third-party developers shared new images of upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft, while several airports have been released.
We start with a brand new look at the old but gold de Havilland Canada Dash 7 in development at Pilot’s. It’s close to being released pending one more beta cycle, and it’ll be compatible with the TDS GTN.
Next, DC Designs provided another look at the upcoming F-4 Phantom. This time around we get to see the cockpit, the dynamic gun sight, and the radar, which actually includes icons to represent terrain features.
“All navigation and TACAN functions will be present, and I think that we’ll actually be putting in the INS after all ( which is the RIO’s responsibility ) allowing for pin-point navigation, but will have to confirm that as it’s an older system with analogue gauges and might be tricky to code correctly. Everything progressing well though.”
The developer hopes to have the aircraft ready for launch before the end of the month.
