Today Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the debut date of the anime Synduality Noir, which will come ahead of a new mecha game titled Synduality: Echo of Ada.
The anime series will start airing on Japanese TV and on Disney Plus on July 10. If you’re not familiar with it, the project was revealed at the latest Tokyo Game Show, and you can check out more details in our previous article.
We also get the reveal of three new characters. Michael is the leader of the drifter organization named Aventure and rival of the hero’s buddy Tokio. Bob is his Magus, while Maria is Ellie’s older sister and Rock Town’s best mechanics and the hero’s mentor when it comes to maintenance of the Cradle Coffin mecha. She’s also a drunkard.
You can find their portraits in the gallery below alongside the poster of a collaboration with Subaru, which designed one of the carrier vehicles that are used to transport the Cradle Coffins. More vehicles related to the Subaru brand will be appear in the anime, despite the fact that it’s set 200 years in the future.
It’s worth mentioning that we don’t know whether any of the characters portrayed in the anime will appear in the game Synduality: Echo of Ada, since they’re set in the same world, but in different timeframes. Both the anime and the game’s titles include the name of the hero’s magus, Noir and Ada. A Magus supports a Crafle Coffin’s pilot in its operation.
We haven’t seen much of the game just yet besides the initial reveal trailer, but it should come this year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
