The Dying Light 2 roadmap has been revealed, and it certainly impresses — Techland is promising gamers more than 5 years of post-launch content, featuring a mix of paid DLC and free updates to its upcoming survival game.
We’re a little more than a week away from the launch of Dying Light 2 (except for the Nintendo Switch, that is). We’ve recently learned that this upcoming game from Techland will feature 4-player co-op and that it will get free upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. These reveals were just scratching the surface, it seems — Techland has revealed the game’s roadmap.

“It all starts on release, but it’s just the beginning!” read a tweet from the game’s official account. “We’re planning to keep enhancing the game with DLCs, challenges, stories, events, and more for at least 5 years, and that’s a minimum! You sure won’t be bored!”

Techland has certainly laid out ambitious plans, but this is far from an empty promise — it’s already demonstrated its commitment to updating its games with the predecessor Dying Light which received yet another free content patch late last year and has a free next-gen upgrade patch in development.
