This guide will tell you how to solve the Disney Dreamlight Valley ‘A Friendly Exchange’ Quest and how to figure out WALL-E’s “Hidden Requirement.”
The Disney Dreamlight Valley ‘A Friendly Exchange’ Quest, Explained
The Disney Dreamlight Valley ‘A Friendly Exchange’ Quest is the final Quest for WALL-E, but it’s a bit of a mystery — a “Hidden Requirement” prevents your progress. There are no clues to help you out, either.
Fortunately, we’ve figured out the mystery (and what you have to do) — read on for all the details!
What is the WALL-E Hidden Requirement in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The WALL-E Hidden Requirement is the discovery of a Memory that can only take place after you’ve begun the quest. This Memory shows that WALL-E and Ariel were apparently quite good friends before The Forgetting.
Here’s what the Memory in question looks like:
Unfortunately, finding this Memory comes down to luck — you have a chance of discovering it by destroying Night Thorns. Keep destroying Night Thorns until it pops up!
Once you’ve uncovered this Memory, it will progress the Quest. You and WALL-E will discover that WALL-E used to trade items with Ariel — another avid collector of junk.
WALL-E wants to start making trades again, but he isn’t quite sure about what he should bring along. That leads to the next major objective: you’ll have to find a Bowling Pin, a Toy Train, and a Light Bulb so WALL-E can exchange them with Ariel.
Where to Find the Items for the ‘A Friendly Exchange’ Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Here’s where to find the Bowling Pin, Toy Train, and Lightbulb for the ‘A Friendly Exchange’ Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- The Bowling Pin can be found on the floor in Goofy’s House.
- The Toy Train can be found on the dining table in Mickey Mouse’s house.
- The Lightbulb can be found in WALL-E’s house near the left corner in the rear of the building.
Once you’ve collected all of these items, take them to WALL-E. He will excitedly scurry along in search of Ariel to make the trade.
A quick note: as a water-based Character, Ariel can be a bit buggy at times. It may take WALL-E a few attempts before a proper meetup with Ariel is achieved.
Once they’ve finished having their chat, WALL-E will be quite happy with the result and you’ll have completed the Quest.
