Microsoft Flight Simulator Cincinnati, Almeria, & Newcastle Airport Get New Screenshots

Third-party developers revealed more news about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, focusing on new airports.

We start with Almería Airport (LEAM) in Spain, that received new screenshots from TDM Scenery Design.

The developers mention that they’re focusing on finishing all the work on terrain, buildings, objects and vegetation. After that, they’ll move on to the textures for the runway and aprons. After the release of Almería, they will announce the roadmap for the next two years, which will focus on scenery in Spain and Venezuela.

Next, we hear from Impulse Simulations, which released the first work-in-progress images of Newcastle Airport (YWLM). As the ICAO code suggests, this isn’t the airport in the UK, but the one serving Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia.

This one is obviously in early development, so we shouldn’t expect a release for quite some time.

We move on to Skyline Simulations, which provided new screenshots of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KCVG) in the United States. The airport has been in development for quite some time, and this time around, we get to take a look at the terminal and the night lighting.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
