Today Square Enix announced that the Eorzea Symphony concert featuring music from the ultra-popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV is finally coming west to both the US and the UK.
According to the announcement, the concert will have its first date on July 30, 2023, at The Theater – Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, with two shows. The second date will be in London at the Eventim Apollo on October 23, 2023, also with two shows.
Tickets will go on sale respectively on March 19 at 12:00 p.m. PDT on AXS for the concerts in Las Vegas, while for London you’ll have to wait for March 31, 2023, at 18:00 GMT or 19:00 BST on Eventim’s page.
The dates are not random, as they are the day after the North American and European fan festivals, providing a good chance of enjoying both events if you manage to get a hold of the tickets.
Both concerts will star producer and director Naoki Yoshida, composer and sound director Masayoshi Soken, and Amanda Achen and Jason Charles Miller as vocalists.
Having enjoyed the first two concerts in Japan, I can tell you that if you have the chance to go, it’s definitely an unforgettable experience. Just bring a lot of tissues, because unless you don’t have a heart, you’re gonna tear up. I know I cried like a schoolgirl both times.
Below you can take a look at a trailer featuring the same concert hosted in Japan a while ago.
Yet, that’s not all the news for Final Fantasy XIV fans today, as the next Letter from the Producer Live broadcast will air on Friday, March 31, at 4:00 am PDT, which translates into 7:00 am EDT, Noon BST, and 1:00 pm CEST, depending on where you live.
The show will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch and will focus on revealing the first information about the upcoming update 6.4.
Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PS5, PS4, and PC both on Steam and via stand-alone client. The game is one of the most popular MMORPGs on currently available the planet, having pulled a basically miraculous recovery with its relaunch as “A Realm Reborn” in 2013 after its original release in 2010.
After its fourth expansion “Endwalker,” it currently counts 27 million registered accounts worldwide. The game just received its update 6.35 with plenty of new content for players to enjoy and a rather interesting collaboration with Puma including plenty of sneakers and apparel has been launched in several countries and will come soon to North America. The English localization of the Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy Manga by Esora Amaichi has also been announced by Square Enix yesterday.
