Today NIS America released a playable demo for Nippon Ichi Software’s investigation mystery game Process of Elimination, which is coming west soon.
The demo is available on the PlayStation Store and on the Nintendo eShop, and it includes the first case of the game. Those who plan on playing the full release will also be able to transfer their saved game.
The announcement came with a trailer, providing a quick glance at the first case that you’ll be able to enjoy if you download and play the demo.
Process of Elimination was released in Japan on May 27, 2022, with the title Tantei Bokumetsu. It’ll launch in the west for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on April 14, 2023.
If you’re interested in what’s coming from the developer, Nippon Ichi Software recently revealed another interesting JRPG titled “Xicatrice” for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. At the moment, a western release of this one has not been announced just yet, but I would be surprised if it didn’t come.
Of course, one of the developer’s most visible franchises, Disgaea, will soon get a new game, Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless. It’s coming west this fall for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
On the other hand, NIS America (which is the western arm of Nippon Ichi Software) will help bring another JRPG by Furyu to North America and Europe, Crymachina for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
